FAQ

Typical dosing is 2 squeezes of the dropper bulb.
For more acute symptom relief, (ie., a headache) we suggest using 50 lbs of weight = 1 squeeze.
For example, someone who weighs 200 pounds might start with 4 squeezes of the dropper bulb to relieve pain from a headache, and then evaluate from there.
For children, we would recommend starting with 1/4 to 1/2 of a dropper squeeze.
As always, you know your body best.

Herbs have a very short half-life (they're usually gone from your system in less than 12 hours).
For this reason, we recommend dosing at least twice a day for ongoing issues.
Pharmaceuticals can be formulated in time-release capsules, while tinctures cannot. Tinctures are also easily metabolized by the liver, so they don't stay in your system as long & you will need to consume more often for continuing benefits.

A 2oz bottle has about 60 dropper-fulls. Assuming that you took 2 squeezes every day, it would last you approximately a month.

They are not certified to be gluten-free.
However, vodka inherently goes through a distillation process which removes proteins, and gluten is a protein allergy.
As always, listen to your body and choose what is best for you as an individual.

That is for you to decide.
Statistically, there is more alcohol in a very ripe banana than in a whole dropperful of tincture, and we generally recommend 1/4 - 1/2 a dropper for children.

While alcohol is an ingredient in our remedies, once it has been turned into a tincture, it is now a plant extract, rather than an alcohol product. (This is why we don't need an alcohol license to sell tinctures!) Vanilla extract also has alcohol in it, and many people are comfortable having that in the house.
It is also possible to put a dose of tincture into a cup of hot water, and let the alcohol evaporate off. The plant constituents will remain, so you can still get all of the benefits.
However, it is a personal decision based upon your values.
